The Bundeswehrkrankenhaus (BWK) Hamburg is the largest military hospital in Northern Germany. BWK significantly contributes to the emergency care in Hamburg. As the only hospital in Hamburg; BWK has their own helicopter. Furthermore, BWK holds three ermergency ambulances available. Yearly, more than 10,000 rescue operations are carried out by civilian and military staff.
The department of psychiatry and psychotherapy with the main focus on the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder has an excellent reputation.
The Guided Tour will be led by Dr. A. Kroeger and will focus on topics related to operations.
