"The past three Baltic Conferences on E-Health (2007 - 2009) have generated considerable interest in countries far beyond the Baltic Sea Region. The reason is simple: Healthcare systems all over the world are facing very similar challenges. Demographic shifts, increased burden of chronic diseases and expensive treatments as well as the impact of globalization - to mention some of the most important ones.
 
Therefore, we have decided to found the "Global E-Health Forum". The Global E-Health Forum will replace the Baltic Conference on
E-Health and is scheduled for following date:
